About the Choir:
Collegium Juvenum is a mixed school choir from Konstanty Ildefons Galczynski Second High School and Gymnasium No. 2 in Olsztyn. The band was formed in 2004 at the initiative of Joanna Muśko who has been from the beginning the conductor and tutor of the choir.

Within a few years the choir has performed over 100 times – accompanied all school ceremonies. It took part in official city and school-board ceremonies , inaugurations of academic year, numerous concerts, competitions and festivals, winning top place awards and special awards.

Their repertoire is very diverse. It consists of songs from different secular and religious areas in Polish, Latin, Old Church Slavonic, English, Ukrainian, French and South African languages Xhosa and Zulu.
Conductor:
Joanna MuśkoMuśko Joanna was born in 1974 in Bielsk Podlaski. She graduated from the Faculty of Arts at Higher School of Pedagogy in Olsztyn and studied conducting in the class of prof. Lechosław Ragan. Then she completed postgraduate studies in Cultural Studies at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. Since 2010 she has been a student of study of voice postgraduate studies at the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz.

Professionally she is associated with K.I. Galczynski II High School in Olsztyn where she teaches knowledge of the culture and Gymnasium No. 2 - music.

She is the founder, conductor and artistic director of youth choir Collegium Juvenum. The choir, under her direction, accompanied many times official city , school-board and academic ceremonies, they have continuously given numerous concerts and have taken part in many competitions and festivals, winning top place awards.

For her outstanding educational work Joanna Muśko has been honoured with several awards of directors of educational institutions she was connected. In 2010 she was awarded by the Mayor of Olsztyn Piotr Grzymowicz and in 2011 was given the Medal of the National Education Commission.
